About Dr. Fang

Nancy Fang, MD, MS, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship trained in Complex Family Planning. Dr. Fang is passionate about supporting patients seeking comprehensive reproductive healthcare, especially marginalized populations, and those with complex medical issues. Her research interests include equity in reproductive health and contraceptive improvement measures.

Dr. Fang completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Global Health at Northwestern University. She worked for two years in a biology of addiction lab at Rockefeller University in New York City before moving to the University of Pittsburgh to complete her medical degree. She then moved to Denver to complete her ob-gyn residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in Complex Family Planning at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and received a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. After a brief stint on the east coast, she is thrilled to return to the University of Colorado as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Family Planning.
